Remember I told you that my laptop became very uncooperative a few weeks ago? Well, yesterday I brought it to work hoping they would just fix it with a boot disc. But no. They replaced it. Seems their solution is always to take as drastic measures as possible.
Now all my picture archives are gone. And so much more. I'm now buying and external hard drive and tons of USB memory pens and plan to back up regularly. Like everyday. Almost.
So today I've lost my inspiration (along with a lot of lovely lamp pics, sorry A-M). This weekend I will have to trawl the net for tons of lovely pics. Till then I'll just have to go with what I've got on my other laptop. Trawling is very time consuming and I really should be working ;-)

Ush det är inte roligt när man förlorar information och bilder från en hårddisk. Jag har också usb minnen, dvd-skivor, lös hårddisk osv för att inte bli av med bilder. Bilderna du visar nu är jättefina! Lycka till med bild letandet.
Åhh stackars, stackars dig!! Som du sa: man lägger ner så enormt mycket tid så det är inte så kul om allt går förlorat!

how i am so sorry, that is a bummer. did they save your old hard drive? they can usually get the data off, especially if you bring food.
Å, nei så trist!! Det samme skjedde med meg for en stund siden! Forferdelig irriterende å miste alt av bilder!
Men med din gode teft finner du sikkert flotte nye bilder, tenker jeg ...

Oh those computers! We have a love/hate relationship with them. It is so frustrating to lose irreplaceable work. I do love the little garden house you have shown - it looks like a great place to escape from the kids!

Åh vad hemskt! Kan inte tänka mig många saker som vore värre än att förlora allt i datorn. Man har ju typ ALLT där. Fy! Extern hårddisk är nog enda vägen. Och uppdatera, uppdatera .... Hoppas det fortfarande finns något hopp att få tillbaka datorinnehållet! Kram!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I had this problem earlier in the year...and you just reminded me that I HAVE to buy an external hard drive, as I lost everything a few months ago!!!

they keep all of my photos and documents on their hard drive and it is done automatically every time I load a photo or make a document... it's GREAT!
